I hosted a wonderful photographer from the metro Toronto area, Jaime Lyne Coyle. She contacted me in regards to a posting I had for a photographers training workshop. In the end after talking to Jaime and listening to her needs about lighting and posing, I decided to do a more in depth focus with her that collaborated over the couple months prior to her in studio visit. I had been asked before to do virtual training and didn’t want o under take such a project in fear that the personal contact would be greatly missed. This was a perfect opportunity for me to attempt it because I could cover everything that might have been missing in the phone calls and emails.
Finally I feel everything worked out perfectly! Jaime had everything inside her, she just needed someone to open the door and let it come out! Her work is beautiful and amazing and I feel so happy to have made a new friend in her.
I want to say a few special thank you’s!
First off to Melons et Clementines for posting my casting call for models on their Facebook Page! It was their shout out for me that brought me the extra 3 newborn models that day! To the mothers of the newborns for coming out shortly after their birth, without you all the workshop would have been a bust! To Annik for posing for the gorgeous Maternity photographs! Your inhibitions created some AMAZING images! To Jaime, thank you for teaching me a few things about being a teacher! It was productive on both ends!
