Welcome
Thank you for choosing Natacha Silber Photography. I have provided all the important information regarding your photography session here. Please do not hesitate to contact me via email or by phone if you have any questions. I pride myself on the type of services I offer my clients. I try to create very personal session. In order to do this I only take one client on any given day, and taking only a certain amount every month. This allows me more time to create and customize each persons images, stay fresh and keeps my style current.
My session times vary in length depending on what I am photographing. Maternity sessions can last about 1.5 hours. Newborns can last between 3 to 3 1/2 hours. If I am doing 6 month old babies all the way through the toddler years, I will try to keep our session time to about 1 1/2 hours as this seems to be the limit for most babies and children. Newborn sessions last the longest because I really follow babies cues taking breaks to feed baby many times throughout our session and rest. It takes time to be able to capture as many images and poses as we can. No matter what type of session I am doing, I always tell people to be prepared. Bring along snacks for yourself or your children and any other beverage you might want. I do have plenty of bottled water in studio, coffee and tea. If you need to heat up formula or refrigerate it I also have a microwave & mini fridge to accommodate you.

Newborns
Things to think about when preparing for our session:
Everyone attending might want to consider bringing a change of clothing as well as extra receiving blankets. Babies will be photographed without diapers and will more then likely to have many accidents during our session so it’s good to be prepared
Babies will also need to feed much more than normal at our session. There are few things that assist in keeping baby asleep for the photos and that is food, good white noise and warmth. The studio is normally kept very warm to compensate for baby not being dressed. As a new mother with hormones altering your body heat, you might find it hot in the studio so dress appropriately. You might consider wearing layers that can be removed as you feel too warm. Please keep in mind that baby’s feeding schedule will be off just for this one day to help he/she stay comfortable and sleepy. I have many parents ask if I take photos with babies eyes open. I do take some, but the majority of images will be of baby sleeping. It is the only way I can keep baby posed and facing camera, when the baby is awake they move quite a bit and do not look at me when I am photographing them, it just does not create pleasing images or keep with my style. For mothers with new babies, please bring yourself some snacks to keep yourself nourished too. Shortly after birth you will need all the energy you can get, especially when you come for photos.
Clothing for baby:
I do have quite a large stash of hats and wraps for babies, but if you have something that is knit as a special gift to baby please feel free to bring it along. Nothing makes an image more special then something that was gifted to your baby. Otherwise I try to keep baby bare to really show the newborn form.
Below you will find a links to my client forms and contract. Please fill in all form and they will automatically be emailed to me. Read them carefully and fill out all the information, making sure to fill in all spaces. Please do not forget to include your model release form, if baby is not born yet, we can fill it out in studio when you come for your session. A model release is a standard form I ask of all my clients, as my main subjects are minors. I do use my images for my website portfolio, on my blog, and on Facebook, as well as printing them on publicity material like business cards, flyers, posters, etc. A model release just ensures that you understand your images might be used for these purposes. If you have any questions while filling out your forms please do not hesitate to call me. I want you to come to your session without any concerns or questions. 514-743-5392
I look forward to our photo session!
